Here’s a great opportunity to adopt a new best friend for only $30!
Beginning this Thursday, July 20th and running through Sunday, July 23rd, you can adopt a pet from KC Pet Project for only $30. The special will apply to any dog weighing 30 pounds or more and all adult cats at the KC Campus for Animal Care, Zona Rosa Adoption Center, and Petco Adoption Center on 95th Street in Overland Park. This special also applies to pets currently living in foster homes.
This special is in honor of KC Pet Project Day, a city-declared day on July 21st which honors KC Pet Project and our lifesaving efforts in Kansas City. We are still at crisis capacity, and the number of new pets coming into our shelter is not slowing down. This weekend, we need your help to get pets out of our buildings. We are being faced with very difficult decisions and need support from our community in order to be able to save lives.
