On January 1, 2022, KC Pet Project celebrated our 10-year anniversary as an organization.
In celebration of the 10 Year Anniversary, we will host an adoption event on New Year’s Day and Sunday, January 2nd at the KC Campus for Animal Care (KCCAC) location only. All adult dogs and cats will be $25. Even if you aren’t looking to adopt, stop by for other ways to join in the fun. We will be celebrating with discounts in our retail store, coffee specials at The Roasterie at KCCAC, giveaways, raffles, and more. Help us kick off another historic year by visiting us at The KC Campus for Animal Care on New Year’s Day weekend!
For 10 years, KC Pet Project has been operating the shelter for the city of Kansas City, MO. In that time, more than 89,500 pets have been saved, we now has 14 locations to adopt from, including their new shelter, the KC Campus for Animal Care, and the organization took on the contract for animal services in 2020. The organization looks forward to saving more lives in the next 10 years and advancing our programs to help the pets and people of our community.
On December 31st, we also celebrated our 10,000th adoption in 2021. This is the highest number of pets adopted in one year in KC Pet Project’s history. Chardonnay was the 10,000th pet to be adopted from our organization in 2021.
We also launched new retail products in honor of their 10 year anniversary, which can be viewed on our online store.
All KC Pet Project locations are open normal hours this holiday weekend.
