KC Pet Project has joined NBCUniversal Local’s 2022 Clear The Shelters pet adoption weekend. This is the eighth consecutive year NBC and Telemundo owned stations are partnering with affiliate stations and animal shelters and rescues to promote pet adoption and help raise funds to support animal welfare. Since its inception in 2015, Clear The Shelters has helped more than 700,000 pets find new homes.
KC Pet Project will be hosting $30 adoptions on dogs 30 pounds or more and adult cats from Friday, August 26th through Sunday, August 28th at the KC Campus for Animal Care, their Zona Rosa Adoption Center, and the Petco store on 95th Street in Overland Park, KS (cats only at this location). Pets in foster homes also qualify for the special.
