With winter weather on its way to our area, we’re going to be hosting our 2nd annual Project Pet Warmth event on Sunday, December 11th from 11am-1pm. This event is hosted by KC Pet Project’s Animal Services Division, Great Plains SPCA’s Hero Program, Heart of America Humane Society, and The Rescue Project in order to provide free supplies and resources to keep pets in our community warm and safe during the winter months.

We’ll be distributing dog crates, straw, blankets, food, sweaters, and more while supplies last at this drive-thru event at the Linwood YMCA/James B. Nutter, Sr. Community Center. Our Animal Services Division will also be handing out free pet identification tags for pets.
