This is a flexible, spring internship requiring 8-16 hours a week and some evenings and weekends. This is an unpaid internship that can fulfill college credits.
The Development Intern for KC Pet Project should be enthusiastic about all channels of development and fundraising. They will be working mainly at the Kansas City Campus for Animal Care in Swope Park and occasionally asked to go off-site for events. KC Pet Project is a 501(c)3 that operates the Kansas City, Missouri, animal shelter at the Kansas City Campus for Animal Care. KC Pet Project is the largest No-Kill shelter in Kansas City and provides care to the more than 10,000 homeless, abandoned, and injured pets that arrive at KC Pet Project each year.
