The Petco Foundation choose KC Pet Project was awarded the Paul Jolly Compassion Award in 2014 and has received unmeasureable support every since.
“The choice of the Kansas City Pet Project as our first recipient for the Paul Jolly Compassion Award was an easy decision. The Kansas City Pet Project stands out nationally as an organization that is achieving lifesaving success despite very limited resources. The Kansas City community should take pride in the efforts of this organization because their dedication and determination to help animals and save lives in the Kansas City community despite the many challenges they face daily is truly inspirational,” said Susanne Kogut, Executive Director of the Petco Foundation. “All of us at the Petco Foundation are extremely impressed by the achievements of this organization in such a short time since incorporating and taking over the operations of the city shelter.”
