Mandy Irey joined the KC Pet Project Team in November 2022. She is a graduate of Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, Oregon. Mandy’s past work experiences include working for a hospital in Southern Oregon, Remote Medical in Seattle, WA., and Brio Systems, where she served in various roles as a Volunteer Manager, Project Manager, and a Program Manager. She also has a background in Military Service, serving from 1999 – 2005 in the Army National Guard as the Dispatch Sergeant.
In Mandy’s role as the Volunteer Engagement Manager, she directly oversees the volunteer program, and the Volunteer Department team, supporting all of KC Pet Project’s amazing volunteers. Mandy is excited to grow volunteer services by supporting the organization’s “solutions, not excuses” model.
In her free time, Mandy enjoys reading a good book, engaging in sports, and watching movies. She likes to adventure and explore new things with her friends and family. Mandy currently lives in Leawood, with her spouse, Will, and their three children: Ashton, Addison, and Aiden, and their four-legged kids: Bella, Vader, Luke, and Leia.
