KC. Rescue Run 5k

For the first time ever, you can run (or walk) to help KC Pet Project give love and medical care to Kansas City’s homeless pets! Join KC Pet Project on Saturday, June 13, 2020, as racers make their way through scenic Swope Park, the new home of the Kansas City Campus for Animal Care, in the KC Rescue Run 5K! As you run through Swope Park, you’ll see Kansas City landmarks like Starlight Theatre, the Kansas City Zoo, and of course, the Kansas City Campus for Animal Care. And, if you need a break while you run, you can stop and snuggle a puppy or kitten along the race route! All race finishers will receive a custom KC Pet Project medal, and you’ll receive a commemorative race shirt for registering. Then, join KC Pet Project after the race for the awards ceremony, food and drink, and pet-friendly vendor booths. You can sign-up today for Kansas City’s new favorite 5K and support the 11,000 homeless, abandoned, and often injured pets that will arrive at KC Pet Project this year. Don’t miss this inaugural event!
