Every ticket purchased helps support the more than 16,000 pets we care for each year through sheltering, adoption, pet support services, and more.

Patio Party takes place on Friday, May 22, 2026 from 6 to 10 p.m.
Patio Party will be held at KC Pet Project’s Main Campus Front Parking Lot, located at 7077 Elmwood Ave., Kansas City, MO 64132.
Guest check-in begins at 5:30 p.m., and the event opens at 6 p.m. VIP also opens at 6 p.m.
Guests may park in KC Pet Project’s North Lot or the Purple Lot in Swope Park. Gates for parking in the North Lot will open at 5:30 p.m. A parking map will be included below to help guide you.
Yes. Bags and purses are welcome. Security will check all bags at entry.
Yes. Lawn chairs are welcome if you’d like to settle in and enjoy the concert. Security will check lawn chairs at entry as well.
For this one, we’re asking guests to please leave personal pets at home. We’ll have shelter dogs hanging out with us throughout the evening, so this helps keep things safe and comfortable for everyone. Service animals are permitted.
Yes. Guests 21 and older can enjoy alcoholic beverages in the beer garden. Please bring a valid ID. Guests who are 21+ will receive a wristband at check-in.
Yes. Water and other non-alcoholic beverages will be available.
VIP guests should check in as usual and will receive a VIP wristband. VIP will be held in the shelter lobby and opens at 6 p.m.
If you pre-ordered an event shirt, you’ll pick it up at the KC Pet Project merch table.
Yes. We’ll have a limited number of Patio Party shirts available for $25 while supplies last.
Yes. If tickets are still available, guests can purchase them day-of by scanning the QR code at check-in.
No. Firearms are prohibited at this event.
