Roadrunner Finds Forever Home with his Foster Family
BIG news to share with you today…our little survivor Roadrunner is being officially adopted by his loving foster family. His foster mom is member of our KC Pet Project staff and in fact, was the individual who carried him off the animal control truck when he first arrived at our shelter severely injured and scared.
After caring for him for several months and helping him heal and adapt to life without sight, they realized they could never part with him, and knew he should become a permanent part of their family.
Roadrunner will have a Boxer big sister and a Beagle/Boston Terrier mix brother that he already loves very much. Roadrunner’s new family has cared for several pets in the past with special medical needs and will ensure Roadrunner’s life will be as comfortable as possible. His new dad works from home so Roadrunner will rarely be alone.
We’re beyond thrilled that he is being adopted to this great family who will shower him with all of the love that this special boy deserves. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your support, donations, gifts, and well wishes that you have provided for Roadrunner since he came to our shelter in November. We will continue to provide you updates about him in his new home.
Roadrunner is truly our hero and we’re so happy this sweet boy is getting the loving, compassionate home he deserves. Congratulations, sweet boy!
