During the month of April, more than 50 locations in Missouri and Kansas will be a part of Whiskey for Whiskers, which is a benefit to support the pets of KC Pet Project. Each participating location will feature curated whiskey cocktails featuring Nelson’s Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey. A portion from every cocktail benefits the pets of KC Pet Project.
Nelson’s Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey is a remarkable family recipe resurrected from the founding day in 1860 with the first bottling since 1909. Andy & Charlie Nelson launched Nelson Brothers Whiskey with a single ambition: introducing the 21st Century to a whiskey that honors the exacting standards for their great-great-great grandfather, Charles Nelson. Painstakingly filtered through a mellowing bed of sugar maple charcoal and aged in new charred oak barrels, it’s easy to taste why Charles Nelson’s wheated mash bill recipe and meticulous process set the standard by which all future Tennessee Whiskeys are judged.
The event begins at all locations on April 1st, and each bar or restaurant will have their signature drink for the cause. But know every Nelson’s Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey drink poured are the for the pets of KC Pet Project. Passport-style booklets featuring all participating locations and cocktails will be available for pickup closer to the month of April at select locations.
