Pets are flooding into the shelter at KC Pet Project in record numbers. Intake overall for 2022 is on track to be the highest number in the organization’s history – after experiencing the highest number in 2021 with more than 14,000 pets cared for in the year. Our shelter is at capacity with wonderful dogs and cats looking for homes, so this weekend we are having an adoption special! This event comes at a great time to adopt an amazing new best friend.
KC Pet Project is excited to partner with Best Friends Animal Society and Bounty to Bring Home Happiness! Starting May 20 through May 22nd, adult dogs over 25 pounds will be $25 off their normal adoption fee and adult cats will be $25 during the weekend event at the KC Campus for Animal Care, Zona Rosa Adoption Center, Petco Adoption Center in Overland Park, and pets in foster homes.
