Your support this year – during a global pandemic – has been truly vital as we continued providing love and medical care for homeless pets in need throughout Kansas City. It’s gratifying to know that friends like you share the same dedication and compassion as we do.
We have experienced exceptional growth in the last eight years, and this year was no different as we moved into the new shelter building at the Kansas City Campus for Animal Care in Swope Park. It’s only because of generous friends like you that we can continue our lifesaving mission across our community.
Like any nonprofit organization, we face challenges every day – including the growing need to provide additional veterinary and community resources to help thousands more pets and families right here in our community. With your help, KC Pet Project can save more pets’ lives and keep more pets with their loving families.
As an animal welfare leader in our community, the number of pets we’re able to save and care for continues to increase. Our veterinary care center continues to perform thousands of spay and neuter surgeries and provide vaccinations, emergency medical care, and treatments for lost and often injured pets right here at our shelter every year. Now, KC Pet Project is providing all animal services to Kansas City, Missouri, as it recently began operating Animal Control, which has been renamed Animal Services.
Every homeless pet deserves a second chance. Since 2012, nearly 75,000 dogs, cats, and other small animals from our community have been saved and given a second chance by KC Pet Project. You have been a part of our success story. Your support has touched the lives of thousands of pets that have entered our shelter every year.
There’s still time to give one last gift this year. Give hope and second chances today by making a donation to support the care of the pets at our shelter. Your generosity ensures we can
It’s only with help from generous friends like you that we can continue our mission of saving lives in our community. On behalf of the pets we serve, thank you and have a safe and happy New Year!
