Stephanie Sullens is excited to join the KC Pet Project team, as the Chief Development Officer.
Stephanie’s past development experience includes working with KU Endowment, the University of Missouri – Trulaske College of Business, and the University of Illinois at Chicago – College of Medicine which is in the top 5 largest in the country. Her past non-profit experience includes working with the PKD Foundation in Kansas City, MO as the Chief Advancement Officer where she helped secure a $9.3 million gift for research.
At the KC Pet Project, Stephanie is responsible fundraising and donor activities to raise awareness and financial support. This includes overseeing fundraising program such as major gifts, planned giving, monthly giving, matching gift campaigns, foundation and grant opportunities, corporate giving, direct mail, and fundraising events. Additionally, Stephanie will strengthen and cultivate partnerships and collaborations with the community and nationwide to continue philanthropic efforts that support the mission. She enjoys meeting people from the community and making connections for engagement, to create a better community for pets and people.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Missouri – Trulaske College of Business in Columbia, MO. She and her dog Lexi are from Lake of the Ozarks and enjoy spending time with family and friends.
