Join us for a fun and unique First Friday event to benefit KC Pet Project! go.fetch.art will be on Friday, May 2nd from 5:00-10:00pm at Krzyz Studio in the Crossroads. This First Friday art opening with KC Pet Project and Krzyz Studio will feature the wonderful photography of a few of our volunteer photographers who take time to come to the shelter every week to take pictures of available pets at our shelter. Photographers include Kaye Ness of Kaye Ness Photography, Kasi Orr of Reames Photography, and Chad Ackerman of Ackerman Images. The work of our hosts, Krzyz Photography, will also be displayed. All pieces will be available for purchase at the event.
Along with photography attendees will also be able to view and purchase unique dog bowls created by the KC Clay Guild and decorated by local artists. There will also be raffle items including many pieces of art and other fun items and dog beds created by Kelly Knetter. KC Pils from Boulevard Brewing Company and wine will be served. GoodDog2Go will be outside the studio selling yummy treats that you can take home to your furry friends! Krzyz Studio is a space located at 18th and Locust, two doors down from Grinder’s in the east side of the Crossroads district, which is a very up-and-coming area. Look for the BUY ART sign!
Proceeds from the event go directly toward the medical care of the nearly 9,000 pets that will come through the doors of KC Pet Project in 2013!
